Fact Vs Fiction Reading

 Teaching nonfiction reading skills just got moved to "the head of the class"......

The Common Core's focus is preparing pupils for college and career, both of which require a reservoir of knowledge about the natural, physical, and social world around them.  Informational texts have just what's necessary to do that in a child's "reading world."
